In 2016, BIM (Building Information Modeling) began making waves: time savings on computers, easier construction management, and automatically generated 3D models! I had been an interior architect in Caen for six years, working for a prominent retail design company. It was essential to adopt BIM! But not everyone agreed. No matter, I left the company to train myself in BIM methods and software and offer my services as a modeling specialist. Thus, Mindae was born on May 10, 2018.
I initially focused on the Normandy region and then expanded nationally. Apart from a small project for a Swedish subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, it was a complete flop! BIM was still too forward-thinking. Outside companies like Vinci or Bouygues Construction, very few architects were using it. What to do? Return to the basics! To spatial design, my profession and lifelong passion.
Since then, numerous projects have filled my days and become my pride. I realize some dreams—those of others—and assist many individuals and professionals in their renovation and interior design projects.
In 2020, the agency expanded and now includes several collaborators. This milestone allows us to handle your numerous requests and continue serving you to the best of our ability.

Since November 2021, Emilie has been a member of the Caen Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), working to enhance the economy and attractiveness of our beautiful Normandy region. Mindae is also a member of CPME Calvados.
We share our passion by offering internships from middle school through to Master’s level. We provide training through apprenticeships and participate in various events to promote careers in the construction industry.
