This file serves several purposes. First, it is an essential tool for maintenance, especially when managing remote agencies or large buildings. There’s no need for you to travel; everything is in the file. Additionally, it saves time during renovations: you already have the plans and the location of conduit passages, so there’s no need for probing; you’re on familiar ground.
For the more innovative projects, consider having your model created in BIM, and your DOE will be visual, 3D, and digital!
